A FRESH CATCH OF FUNDING FOR MACEDON

The Allan Labor Government is building new fishing platforms, providing better fish habitat in our rivers and continuing research of native fish species across Victoria. Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas today announced Coliban Water will receive $85,800 to install a floating fishing pontoon at Lauriston Reservoir in Kyneton and $61,688 towards extending the boat ramp on Upper Coliban Reservoir at Premier Mine Road.

FREE TRAVEL FOR YOUNG VICTORIANS FROM JANUARY

The Allan Labor Government is making public transport free for more than one million young Victorians from 1 January, with the new Youth myki now available to purchase online. Available for purchase on the Transport Victoria website, the Youth myki ensures all passengers aged under 18 can travel for free across the network from the start of next year.

NEW FUNDING TO SUPPORT MACEDON RANGES LIBRARIES

The Allan Labor Government is giving Macedon Ranges libraries a major funding boost, with the latest round of the Living Libraries Infrastructure Program set to invest in 18 libraries across the state. All four Macedon Ranges libraries in Kyneton, Gisborne, Woodend and Romsey will benefit from $62,865, which will provide better access to library facilities and programs and increase community engagement with services.
