The Allan Labor Government is supporting people experiencing drug and alcohol addiction with the expansion of Arrow Health’s rehabilitation clinic in Woodend.Minister for Health and Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas, representing Minister for Regional Development Jaclyn Symes, today visited the clinic which now has an additional eight beds and 55 staff for the care and treatment of patients.‍

PROTECTING OUR SCHOOLS FROM BUSHFIRE SEASON

The Allan Labor Government is making sure schools across Victoria are well-prepared for the upcoming bushfire season by providing grants to clear vegetation growth and reduce the risk of fire.Mary-Anne Thomas today announced twenty-one schools across Macedon are part of 345 campuses across 330 government schools which will share in $8.4 million to carry out essential maintenance work as part of the Bushfire Preparedness Vegetation Program (BPVP).
