Labor is upgrading four public libraries with new meeting pods across the Macedon Ranges.
Minister for Local Government, Paul Hamer and Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas visited the Woodend Library to unveil the new pods.
Libraries give Victorians free access to the tools and spaces they need to study, work, learn and stay connected.
The new pods offer private, accessible spaces for meetings, telehealth appointments and online services.
The upgrades have been delivered as part of Labor’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
The program supports refurbishments of all sizes from expanded children’s areas to technology hubs.
The Government has already delivered 176 library infrastructure projects — building new libraries and upgrading existing ones.
Applications for the new round are now open and close on 17 July 2026.
