Kyneton passengers get 100 extra car spaces

The Andrews Labor Government has upgraded the car park at Kyneton Station, with a 100 new sealed spaces ready to go for V/Line passengers. Mary-Anne Thomas said "these extra spaces will make a real difference to people looking to park the car and take the train."

Member for Macedon Mary-Anne Thomas today announced the completion of works, which will make driving to the station and catching the train much easier for passengers.

New lighting, line markings, CCTV and signage have been installed to make the car park safer and easier to use.

The Labor Government’s $20 million Station Car Park Upgrades Program is building more than 2,100 extra parking spaces at regional and metropolitan train stations where they are needed most.

In August the Labor Government added 18 extra services every week for passengers at Kyneton Station, making it easier to get to evening and weekend events in Melbourne than ever before.
