Upgrades completed at bolinda primary school

Students at Bolinda Primary School now have the facilities they deserve thanks to the Victorian Government.

Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas, today visited the school to see the results of a $105,000 maintenance project, which included roof and plumbing upgrades to the art room and administration building and upgrades to the school’s electrical system.

A fresh water filtration system was also installed, while some asbestos and a beehive were removed.

Bolinda Primary School is one of more than 100 building works taking place under the Government’s Maintenance Program, which is providing $24 million in funding to schools for specific buildings and infrastructure upgrades.

The Government is investing $2.8 billion in better classrooms, upgraded facilities and new schools across the state.

Victoria’s school building boom has delivered more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
