Visited the jubilant volunteers from Gisborne SES last week to witness the handover of their new storm truck!
The unit’s hardworking SES volunteers raised $76,000 towards the $176,000 truck with state government providing $100,000 through the Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program.
It was great to see the crew and as you can see they’re elated with their new tanker which equips them for life saving operations during storms and other emergency incidents.
Well done to all for an amazing fundraising effort and selfless dedication to protecting our community.
