Premier Daniel Andrews today confirmed that Mary-Anne Thomas will continue in her role as Cabinet Secretary.

Ms Thomas was first appointed in November of 2016 and has served as Cabinet Secretary since.

The Cabinet Secretary oversees the coordination of Cabinet and Cabinet Committee operations and plays a key role in delivering the government’s ambitious legislative program.

Prior to her role as Cabinet Secretary, Ms Thomas served as the Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Carers.

Today marked a historic moment with Premier Daniel Andrews unveiling the Labor Government’s new cabinet, which is the first Victorian cabinet comprising 50 per cent women.
