Lancefield and romsey better connected with 60 extra bus services

Lancefield and Romsey residents now have better access to public transport with the start of a new timetable and extra services thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

An additional 60 bus services and a simplified timetable will better connect Lancefield and Romsey residents with trains at Sunbury while maintaining connections at Clarkefield Station in peak times.

Lancefield to Sunbury services will increase to nine trips on weekdays, with Lancefield to Gisborne services increasing from two return services a week to ten, making it easier for people to get around.

The number of weekday services connecting Lancefield and Romsey with surrounding destinations has risen from 85 to 145 with all services now running to the route Monday to Saturday.

The former Lancefield to Kyneton service via Sunbury has been divided into three distinct routes with their own timetable – reducing confusion for passengers.

New timetables and maps outlining the services changes are now available on the PTV website at ptv.vic.gov.au, or by calling PTV on 1300 800 007. Locals are encouraged to utilise the PTV Journey Planner to help them get where they want to go.
