Kyneton museum wins local history funds

Kyneton Museum’s work to preserve community history for generations to come has been recognised as part of the 2018 Local History Grants Program.

Through the program, Kyneton Museum has received $14,232 to upgrade exhibition display cases.

Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas, today joined members of the Friends of the Kyneton Museum group to announce the grant.

The Kyneton Museum was one of 40 community groups to share in $350,000 worth of local history grants.

The Local History Grants Program is part of the Public Record Office Victoria’s ongoing support for community organisations and volunteers who work to preserve, record or publish our shared local history.
