Daylesford comes to life with a week of wellness

A brand new five-day wellness festival will be held in Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges in November this year thanks to a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Macedon Mary-Anne Thomas today announced Live. Love. Life., a new annual festival that will showcase the region’s strengths as Australia’s leading wellness destination.

The festival’s program will embrace all elements of wellness through a range of activities such as yoga, meditation, inspirational speakers and creative workshops, aimed at relaxing the body, soothing the mind and nurturing the soul.

The event will build on the region’s existing reputation as a place of natural wellness with singer Kate Ceberano AM and artist David Bromley taking the reins as the festival’s Co-Creative Directors.

The festival is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors across the five-day period, keeping the hotels, bars and restaurants buzzing and delivering significant benefits to the local economy.

Live. Love. Life. will add to the region’s enviable calendar of major regional events alongside ChillOut in Daylesford and the Lost Trades Fair in Kyneton.

The funding is part of the Andrews Labor Government’s $20 million Regional Events Fund, which is aimed at helping regional communities all over Victoria secure and stage the events that attract visitors in their thousands and showcase the best of everything the regions have to offer.

The Live. Love. Life. Festival will run from 14-18 November 2018.
